The Robins Nest function room can accommodate up to 150 guests.

Floor plan

Floor plan of the Robins Nest: a room 16 metres by 7.3 metres with the bar along one end, the main entrance and the access to the patio and garden off one side, and the toilets and baby changing beyond. It lists four 1.4m round tables seating eight, six 1.6m round tables seating ten, three 1.8m round tables seating twelve, ten 1.5m by 0.7m oblong tables seating six to eight, and 100 blue banquet chairs. The garden is 122 square metres and the patio is covered and illuminated.

The room, dressed

  • Long banqueting rows dressed in royal blue and white, with navy and pale blue balloons and a blue runner down each table
  • The Robins Nest bar, fully stocked, with glasses hung above the counter and a lit London skyline panel along the front of it
  • Round tables with sage green satin sashes and a sage runner, a crystal candlestick and place cards on the nearest table, white drapes across the far end and a grey and white balloon cluster in the corner
  • The room in purple and white, with purple sashes on white chair covers and balloon clusters down both sides of the floor

The Roost

The Roost

The Roost function room can accommodate up to 100 guests.

For events with over 200 guests the Roost can be linked with the adjacent Clubhouse.

The room, set up

  • The Roost bar along one wall, with spirits and pumps behind it and a lit New York skyline panel along the front of the counter
  • The Roost set for a Christmas dinner: black linen and black chair covers with gold sashes, gold crackers and tinsel down the centre of the table
  • The Roost set for a party: fairy lights across the ceiling, a lit 30, black and pink balloons, and a martini glass of pink feathers in the foreground

Our Kitchens are modern, well equipped and have an official Local Authority 5 star rating for hygiene.

Clients can choose to bring their own (fully prepared) food, use external caterers or ask us to provide in house catering.

  • A buffet laid out on a white table: a platter of rolled ham and asparagus round a bowl of coleslaw, a quiche, sandwich platters, breaded goujons and a dish of olives and falafel
  • A long buffet table of sandwich platters, pasta salad in large bowls, sliced meats, olives and bread rolls
  • A sectioned platter of potato salad, red cabbage coleslaw, sliced tomato, cucumber and mixed peppers, with sandwiches behind it
  • A buffet run down a long white table: sandwiches, cheeses, breaded goujons, sliced meats and salads, with a chafing dish at the end
  • An oval platter of vol-au-vents with prawn and egg fillings, ringed with orange, lemon, radish and lettuce
  • A buffet table of sandwich platters, pizzas, fried bites and sliced meats
  • A silver platter of cut sandwiches arranged in rows, garnished with salad leaves, strawberries and orange
  • A wooden tray of rolled roast beef and turkey, a salami rose and sliced ham
  • A wooden board of cheddar, grapes, crackers, apple, strawberries and blue cheese, with tongs
  • A wooden tray of vol-au-vents filled with prawn, egg and tuna, on lettuce

Enquire

  • Both of the function room venues are very busy and get booked up many months in advance, so please arrange an early viewing.
  • Confirmation of a booking is only possible when part-payment is made.
  • We are unable to accommodate children’s parties unless ages are between 7-12 and it is booked as part of our matchday- party package
