Ben Dudzinski Returns to The Robins
Carshalton Athletic are pleased to welcome (back) goalkeeper Ben Dudzinski to Colston Avenue ahead of the new season.
The 30-year-old shot-stopper brings a wealth of experience with him, having built a strong reputation across the National League and National League South during a career that has taken in spells with Hartlepool United, Darlington, Lowestoft Town, Havant & Waterlooville, Sutton United, Oxford City, Dartford and Eastbourne Borough.
Dudzinski began his senior career after coming through at Carshalton Athletic as a youngster, before earning a move into the professional game with Hartlepool United in 2016. He later gained further experience with Darlington and Lowestoft Town, before making his mark at Havant & Waterlooville, where he became a regular presence between the posts.
A move to Sutton United followed in 2019, before Dudzinski joined Oxford City in 2020. It was with the Hoops that he enjoyed one of the standout periods of his career, becoming a firm favourite with supporters and earning recognition as one of the division’s top goalkeepers. During the 2021/22 campaign he kept 14 clean sheets in National League South and was named in the league’s Team of the Season.
Further spells with Dartford and Eastbourne Borough added to an already impressive non-league CV, before he returned to Havant & Waterlooville, where he again demonstrated the quality, composure and leadership that have made him a respected goalkeeper at this level.
Dudzinski now makes the move to Carshalton Athletic with valuable experience, strong pedigree and a proven record of performing in competitive environments. His arrival adds real strength to the Robins’ squad as preparations continue for the new campaign.
Commanding, vocal and reliable, Ben will bring not only shot-stopping ability but also organisation and confidence to the defensive unit in front of him.
