Carshalton Athletic are in action for the final time this season on Sunday, making the trip to Meadowbank to take on Milford & Witley in the Surrey Divisional Cup Final.

2026 has been a brilliant year for the Robins, who have won ten, drawn one, and lost one of their 12 matches so far.
They began the year strongly with a 3–1 home win over Merstham, thanks to goals from Honey Dulley, Dee Badley, and Nadia Sabania. They then continued their Surrey Divisional Cup defence in emphatic fashion, beating South Park Reigate 13–0 in the quarter-finals. It was an impressive display, with nine different players getting on the scoresheet: Sabania (3), Davies (2), McCrea (2), Badley, Dulley, Eade, Gooding, Gueriani, and Underhill.
Although they had no competitive fixture the following weekend, Carshalton faced higher-tier opposition in a friendly against Richmond & Kew and impressed once again, running out 5–1 winners. The goals came from McCrea (2), Badley, Dulley, and Gueriani.
The final game of January saw the Robins host Chessington & Hook at Colston Avenue. Dee Badley scored four goals while Honey Dulley and Nadia Sabania also found the net in a commanding 6–0 victory.
Carshalton then took on Croydon FC at Colston Avenue and led 6–0 at half-time, with goals from Leanne Bell (2), Honey Dulley (2), Kenza Gueriani, and Taylor McCrea. However, five minutes into the second half, the game was abandoned following an injury to the Croydon goalkeeper. The Robins were later awarded the win and three points by the league.
Carshalton then travelled to Walton & Hersham and raced into a 3–0 half-time lead thanks to a brace from Badley and a Dulley strike just before the break. The Robins picked up where they left off in the second half, adding further goals through McCrea, Ward, and Dulley, before conceding a late consolation to seal a 6–1 win.
The Robins then hosted Dorking Wanderers U23s in the semi-finals of the Surrey Divisional Cup. Carshalton made a fast start, with Bianca Underhill opening the scoring after three minutes, but Dorking equalised through Maisie Dale. Carshalton went into half-time 2–1 up following Dee Badley’s strike before the break, but Dorking levelled again in the second half through Holly Crane. Carshalton went ahead for a third time via a Georgie Edwards free-kick, and Badley made it 4–2 shortly after. Holly Crane pulled one back to set up a nervy finish, but the Robins held on to book their place in the final for the second consecutive season.
Carshalton then travelled to face Bognor Regis Town in a friendly. The Robins raced into a 2–0 lead thanks to goals from Dee Badley and Taylor McCrea. Although they led at the break, Bognor fought back in the second half, with Millie Carter’s brace setting up a frantic finish. No further goals followed, and both sides settled for a 2–2 draw.
The final game in March saw the Robins make the short trip to the David Weir Leisure Centre to take on local rivals Sutton United Reserves. Carshalton ran out 2–0 winners thanks to goals from Leanne Bell and Taylor McCrea.
The Robins then faced Oxted & District at Colston Avenue and were in scintillating form, securing their fourth double-digit win of the season with a 10–0 victory. Goals came from Leanne Bell (2), Bianca Underhill (2), Taylor McCrea (2), Hallie Dudley (2), Honey Dulley, and Georgie Edwards.
Carshalton were scheduled to travel to Epsom & Ewell, but the hosts withdrew from the fixture – along with their remaining league games – so Aaron Lamont’s side were awarded another three points.
In their most recent competitive outing, the Robins took on Chessington & Hook United at Chalky Lane in their final league game of the season. Carshalton controlled proceedings and ran out 4–2 winners thanks to a goal from Kenza Gueriani and a hat-trick from Dee Badley. The Robins finished second in the league with a record of 16 wins and 2 defeats, narrowly pipped to the title by Dorking Wanderers U23s.
On Tuesday, the Robins faced higher-tier opposition in Leatherhead at Colston Avenue in a friendly. The visitors raced into a 3–0 half-time lead, playing some slick passing football. The Robins pulled one back through Leanne Bell, but Leatherhead added a fourth to secure a 4–1 victory.
Carshalton now have one game left this season: Sunday’s Surrey Divisional Cup Final against Milford & Witley at Dorking Wanderers’ Meadowbank Stadium.
Surrey Divisional Cup
The Surrey Divisional Cup is contested by teams from both the Surrey Premier Division and Surrey Division 1. Division 1 sides entered in the first round in October, with Premier Division teams joining at the last-16 stage in November.
Last season, Carshalton went all the way to lift the trophy. Entering at the last-16 stage, they defeated Dorking Wanderers U23s 5–3 at Colston Avenue, with goals from Josie Alderman, Kanita Throp, and a hat-trick from Abbie Measures.
A quarter-final walkover against Milford & Witley sent the Robins into a semi-final against Farnham Town, where they avenged an earlier league defeat with a convincing 4–0 win thanks to goals from Kanita Throp, Sarah Chapman, and a brace from Maria Andrade.
The final, held at Dorking Wanderers’ Meadowbank Stadium, saw the Robins surge into a 3–0 lead against Croydon FC through Kanita Throp, Aisha Douglin, and Kenza Gueriani. Despite a late Croydon goal from current Carshalton forward Dee Badley, substitute Honey Dulley sealed a 4–1 victory to secure the club’s first-ever silverware.
This season, 22 teams entered the competition, and the field is now down to the final two. Carshalton edged past Sutton United Reserves 4–3 in the last 16, thanks to a hat-trick from Dee Badley and a goal from Bianca Underhill. That victory set up a quarter-final tie with South Park Reigate, which the Robins controlled from start to finish, running out 13–0 winners.

Milford & Witley
After a fourth-place finish in the Surrey Division 1 South last season, Milford & Witley remain at that level for 2025/26, following the merger of the South and North divisions to create a single Surrey Division 1.
In the first phase, Milford & Witley won seven, drew two, and lost two of their 11 games. There were some dominant victories, including a 7–1 away win over Cranleigh, a 13–0 win over Molesey Athletic, a 7–0 win over Old Tiffinians, and a 6–2 win at Hartland. These results saw them finish third in the first phase, qualifying for the promotion group.
It has been a mixed start to the promotion group, with defeats to Meadow Sports (2–1) and Jersey Bulls (12–3), but also wins against South Park (5–0) and Horley Town (7–1), as well as a walkover against Ash United. Their final league fixture against Hartland is crucial, and a win could see them break into the top two and secure promotion to the Surrey Premier Division.
In the Surrey Divisional Cup, Milford & Witley have been a surprise package this season. They received a walkover in the first round before edging out Meadow Sports 2–1 in the last 16. Their quarter-final tie with Horley Town was postponed three times, but Milford & Witley prevailed 4–1 when the sides eventually met. That set up a semi-final with league rivals Hartland, and Milford & Witley won 4–3 thanks to a hat-trick from Emily Smith.
Team News
Against Oxted & District, manager Aaron Lamont introduced two young prospects from the bench – Hallie Dudley and Laney Garcia – who have impressed for the U16s this season. Both looked comfortable at senior level, with Dudley making a particularly strong impact by scoring twice in the 10–0 win. Both players were involved again the following game as the Robins ran out 4–2 winners over Chessington & Hook.
Carshalton are known for giving opportunities to younger players, with the likes of Honey Dulley, Beth Yarrow and Taylor McCrea playing significant roles during the campaign.
Dudley and Garcia will hope they have done enough to earn further opportunities and continue to demonstrate a clear pathway from the youth setup to the first team.
Elsewhere, striker Heather Eade is facing surgery after suffering a serious knee injury against South Park in the Surrey Divisional Cup. Eade had been enjoying a stunning season up to that point, recording 16 goals and 12 assists in just 12 games. A GoFundMe page has been set up to support the cost of her surgery and rehabilitation.
Pre-Match Analysis
As a higher-division side, Carshalton go into the tie as favourites on paper. Having lifted the trophy last season, manager Aaron Lamont will be keen to secure silverware again and finish the season on a high.
However, Milford & Witley will not be going into the tie to make up the numbers and will see Sunday’s game as an opportunity to cause an upset and lift the trophy themselves.
Last season’s final against Croydon FC saw a strong turnout, particularly from the Robins faithful, and another big crowd is expected for Sunday’s game.
