Kick-off Time Changed to 3:03pm for Carshalton vs Aveley
The Trident Leagues (Isthmian League, Northern Premier League and Southern League) are joining forces with the National League in support of the 3UP Day of Action – calling for a third promotion place from the National League into the EFL.
As part of this campaign, all fixtures on Saturday 15 November, including Carshalton Athletic’s home game against Aveley, will now kick off at the later time of 3:03pm.
In total, 104 matches and 208 teams across 12 divisions will stand together in solidarity with the National League’s 3UP campaign, which already has the support of all 72 National League clubs and an overwhelming 93% of fans across the football pyramid.
The campaign urges the EFL to “Put Football First” by allowing three promotion places from Step 1, ensuring that success on the pitch is properly rewarded and that opportunities for clubs at all levels of the game continue to grow.
A joint statement from the Trident Leagues said:
“We (Isthmian League, Northern Premier League and Southern League) fully support the National League’s 3UP campaign.
We believe an additional promotion place to the EFL is essential for the future of the National League Pyramid, so all league matches played on Saturday 15 November will kick off at 3.03pm.”
National League interim CEO Phil Alexander added:
“We are pleased to have the backing of the Trident Leagues for our 3UP campaign Day of Action on November 15. It’s a powerful gesture that shows how united the game is on this issue. Together we can Put Football First.”
