Peter Adeniyi - First Team Manager

As the CAFC 1st Team & Academy Manager, Peter is responsible for managing the Academy Football Programme to ensure students have access to the highest quality training to allow each individual to reach and strive to exceed in their playing career.  Utilising all his knowledge and contacts within the game, Peter ensures individual player development is at the heart of his and his staff's delivery.  

Peter oversees the daily football training programme, fixtures and player pathways and works closely with Vicky, the Head of Education, to ensure all students are committed both on and off the pitch to raising their attainment.  

As Peter is also the 1st Team Manager, there is a direct link between the Academy Football and 1st Team Football.  This gives all students access to playing and training with the 1st Team, giving them experience like very few other football academies can offer.

Keith Boanas - Head Coach

Keith holds the UEFA Pro coaching licence and is a vastly experienced coach, coach educator and Mentor that has coached youth and senior players.  Keith also trains and develops Football Coaches across all levels of the game and has experience in Coach development in the UK, Europe, Asia and America.  

 

As the CAFC 1st Team & Academy Head Coach & Technical Director, Keith is responsible for student development on the pitch.  He delivers the football training sessions along with Strength & Conditioning sessions to students and helps to ensure students receive individual performance plans to help guide them to reach their footballing potential.  As Keith is also the 1st Team Coach there is a direct link between the Academy Football and Senior Football which benefits and helps encourage the students as they know they are receiving the best quality coaching possible.

Vicky Mannooch - Head of Education

Vicky qualified as a teacher from Roehampton University and has over 11 years of experience being Head of Sport and teaching Physical Education and Sport in schools across London and Surrey. Whilst in working in schools she was a Form Teacher and has a wealth of experience of dealing with students pastorally. 

 

As Head Of Education, Vicky is responsible for managing the Education Programme to ensure it is always fully student centred and that the welfare of the students is paramount. She oversees the player development programme with the support of open minded, professional and driven members of staff.

Vicky helps to ensure all students are treated as individuals and reach at least their expected grades so they can be sure of progressing on their chosen academic pathway.

Vicky works closely with Peter, the Academy Manager, to make sure all students are supported holistically and they make progress in education and football. 

Her team of tutors are outstanding and committed teachers, making sure the education programme is as exciting, varied and active as possible.

Jane Carney - Functional Skills Tutor - Safeguarding Lead

Jane has over 25 years experience in teaching children of all ages. She has taught Functional Skills and A-levels but teaching 16-18 year olds is where her passion lies.   

 

As the Functional Skills Tutor, Jane is responsible for assessing and supporting students with a GCSE Level 3 or lower in Maths / English to gain their Level 2 Functional Skills Qualification.  She works with the students in dedicated lessons to help build their knowledge and understanding of applied Maths / English and is able to support students and enter them in for the exams when they are mutually confident of passing.  

 

Jane is also the Academy Teaching Assistant which enables her to build solid and trusting relationships with the students so she can fully support all their individual needs in the classroom and with their welfare.  The Academy takes advantage of Jane's assessor and verifier qualifications so that the students can receive personalised feedback on their work to ensure they are reaching and exceeding their own expectations.

David Geddes - Site Manager

As the club General Manager, David will be known and get to know all the Academy students.  He is responsible for ensuring the buildings, grounds and equipment, including the pitch are kept in great condition and meet all the Health and Safety requirements.
