Carshalton Athletic are thrilled to confirm that Robins Golden Boot winner Heather Eade has committed to the club for the 2025–26 season.
Eade made a sensational impact in her debut campaign, scoring 21 goals in just 15 starts under Aaron Lamont. Her return to senior football was nothing short of remarkable, and her performances quickly established her as one of the most prolific forwards in the league.
“I’m grateful to be continuing the journey and proud to sign for another season with Carshalton,” Eade said. “Thank you to the coaching staff, my teammates, and the fans for your constant belief and support through every high and low. I’m ready to give everything for the badge once again, and I’m hungry to make every goal count. Let’s make this season special.”
Manager Aaron Lamont praised the significance of Eade’s return, especially amid interest from clubs in higher divisions: “Heather is a massive coup for us — third-highest scorer in the league and over 20 league goals in her first season back at this level,” he said. “A complete number 9 is hard to come by, and if she comes in focused and firing, I genuinely believe she can take us up a level. The fact she’s chosen to stay despite interest from above speaks volumes about how well set up we are as a club.”
Eade’s story makes her success all the more impressive. After years away from the women’s senior game due to injuries and personal setbacks, she returned with renewed determination. She embraced the responsibility of leading the line and thrived, showcasing her natural instinct in front of goal.
With quality support from the likes of Kenza Gueriani, Honey Dulley, Josie Alderman, and Throp — and a potent partnership with Chappers — Eade’s movement and positioning consistently put her in the right place at the right time. Her ability to score with both feet, her head, and from all areas around the penalty area highlights a finishing touch that is arguably the best in the lower tiers of women’s football (Tier 5, 6, and 7). Her value to the team goes well beyond numbers, but 21 goals in 15 starts, as well as a whole host of assists, certainly tells its own story.
Carshalton supporters will be excited to see what is next in Eade’s journey, and with her hunger undimmed, the best may still be to come as Lamont and Co push for promotion and more silverware.
