Kavalli Heywood became the latest player to agree terms for the upcoming season
Kavalli Heywood’s 2025/26 season with Carshalton Athletic was a short but significant chapter, as the former Millwall forward arrived at Colston Avenue during the final weeks of a tense Isthmian League Premier Division campaign.
Heywood joined the Robins in April 2026 as Steven Bates looked to strengthen his squad for the run-in. Carshalton were fighting to secure their Step 3 status, and every point carried huge importance. The club’s late-season additions gave the squad extra depth, with Heywood bringing attacking energy, pace and higher-level academy experience from his time at Millwall.
For a young forward arriving from Millwall, the spell offered useful senior football experience in a demanding non-league environment. For Carshalton, Heywood provided late-season attacking depth at a time when the squad needed every available option.
Although brief, Kavalli Heywood’s 2025/26 Robins story was tied to one of the most important periods of the season: the final push to protect the club’s place at Step 3.
