One club, one community, one Carshalton.
As we all approach the festive season, the club would like to take this opportunity to help those within our community that need a little assistance.
As such, for the next home game, as Bognor Regis Town visit this Saturday, we are asking both sets of fans to help with a collection for the local food bank.
There is no donation too small because if each person brings just one item then that will make a difference within our community.
"Please can Carshalton and Cray supporters come together on this project to do a little bit to help those less fortunate that us,” said Carshalton chairman Paul Dipre.
“The club will be doubling whatever is donated with a bulk purchase from a local supermarket."
Popular Items to donate include long-life orange juice, tinned rice pudding, tinned spaghetti and dried milk.
“This initiative is very important to the chairman and I as the club is at the heart of the community and ideally placed to help those that may need a little support, particularly at this festive time of year,” added player/manager Peter Adeniyi.
“Our fans are truly special people and I have no doubt that they will support this cause.”
Other produce ideas to help inspire include breakfast cereals, soup, pasta, rice, tinned beans/meat/vegetables/fruit, tea or coffee, sugar, biscuits and snacks.
