Club history was made on Tuesday

A huge congratulations goes to 'one of our own' this week.

On a chilly Tuesday night down at Worthing a 12th minute free kick 20 yards from goal was awarded to the Robins. Up stepped Tommy Bradford and he smashed the ball inside the top far corner to register his 100th goal in a Carshalton shirt.

The 24-year old made his debut, and his only first-team appearance that season, aged 17 in a Surrey Senior Cup game and hasn't looked back since.

His first goal came as part of a hat-trick as we defeated Hampton and Richmond Borough 3-0 on 1st April 2013 (and, no joke, the third one was a well-taken penalty to boot!).

Since then he has gone on to score many different types of goal and one season finished the club's top goalscorer with an impressive 34.

Watch for a full interview with the man himself on Robins TV coming soon but, for now, everyone associated with the club sends a hearty well done to Tommy - it's a fantastic achievement and here's to many more!
