The draw for the next round of the FA Trophy was made at FA headquarters today (1pm), writes James Barrett-Sterling.
After getting past local rivals Tooting and Mitcham United 2-1 last Saturday, via goals by Tommy Bradford and Jerry Amoo, Carshalton have been handed a home tie against Aveley.
Our opponents play in the Isthmian North divison and currently sit sixth after 11 matches. They've beaten East Grinstead Town, Bowers and Pitsea, Taunton Town and Biggleswade Town to make this stage of the competition.
The tie will be played on Saturday 14th December (kick-off 3pm), so our scheduled away trip to Haringey Borough will have to be postponed for now.
