Team news Boss Peter Adeniyi brought himself, Lenny Hein and Bobby Price back into the starting line-up, while there was a surprise as youngsters Jesse Sentamu and Sinatra Antwi were given starts following injuries to Ricky Korboa and Christie Pattisson during the warm-up.

Kick-off Much like the first game, it was Aveley that started the stronger and they took an eighth minute lead as George Sykes headed home a cross by Wyan Reid.

Carshalton didn’t have a shot on target during the first-half of the original tie, but that wasn’t the case this time as Price forced David Hughes into a full-length save on 20 minutes.

But, like last Saturday, the Millers doubled their lead via a corner converted by Harry Gibbs – this time with his head.

And Kleton Perntreou had to be alert five minutes before the break as he clasped onto a curling Jason Raad’s effort.

The Robins made two early changes after the break – with Harry Ottaway and Jordan Cheadle both entering the fray – while both keepers made good saves from Price and Sykes respectively.

Carshalton were trying to stretch the game and move the ball across the park, but the home rearguard stood firm and they still created the better chances as Perntreou had to get down to deny Reid's low effort on 74 minutes.

The home side lost Hughes to an injury in the last minute, but it came too late for the Robins to take advantage of as the referee called time on their FA Trophy adventure for another season.
