The club is pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Ernold Haxhiu today, writes James Barrett-Sterling.
The 18 year old, who has made seven first-team appearances and scored one goal since joining in pre-season, has agreed to remain a Robin for the rest of this season. The deal also includes an option to extend into the 2020/21 season.
He had been a part of Leyton Orient's youth set-up from the age of 13 and had also played for the likes of Cambridge United and Enfield Town before ending up at Colston Avenue.
"I'm happy to stay at Carshalton and I hope to keep helping the club improve," said Haxhiu after signing.
"I've been made to feel really welcome here and the vibe in the changing room is good, which is now starting to transfer on the pitch.
"I knew the club had been recently promoted and almost did it again last season. Peter and Keith want to play the kind of football I like and this squad is capable of challenging for trophies."
Player/manager Peter Adeniyi also expressed his happiness at the deal being completed.
"We are absolutely delighted Ernold has agreed to sign with the club," he said. "His performances over the five games have been brilliant and we know there is still more to come.
"His attitude and conduct has been first class from the first day he arrived and we hope he can help the team have a productive and successful season."
Next up for Ernold and his teammates is an exciting fixture against AFC Hornchurch this Saturday. Full details here: https://www.carshaltonathletic.co.uk/post/upnext
