We have an update regarding the first-team as Mike Dixon left us this week, writes James Barrett-Sterling.
Dixon has joined fellow Bostik Premier club Kingstonian on a permanent deal although it wasn't an easy decision according to player/manager Peter Adeniyi.
"Reluctantly, we have allowed Mike to join Kingstonian for the rest of the season so he can get the game time he deserves," Adeniyi explained.
"We would have preferred it was just temporary but Kingstonian have used up all their loan agreements for the season, therefore it had to be a permanent transfer.
"Mike has been outstanding for us and his contribution cannot be understated. I can’t speak highly enough of him as a person, a footballer and I wish him good luck for the future."
Dixon became a Robin during this pre-season and went on to make 33 appearances. He scored eight goals, including 1-0 winners against Enfield Town and Potters Bar Town, and chipped in with four assists.
All the very best from everyone at CAFC Mike, we'll keep an eye on how you're doing!
