Ticket Purchase Journey
Season Tickets and Matchday Tickets are purchased on our web site and emailed to customers after successful payment. Tickets are the only validation for entry – credit card payment receipts are no longer accepted.

Each ticket contains:
1. A QR code
2. A four-digit Ticket ID.

Single Ticket – Multiple admission
Each Ticket may include multiple entrants for example:
2 x Adult + 1 x Senior + 1 x Junior
It is the turnstile operators responsibility to admit the correct number, gender and age of persons

Multiple admission in group only
It’s made clear when tickets are purchased that all beneficiaries of a ticket must pass through the turnstiles together as a group. Persons cannot gain entry at a later time after the ticket has been checked in.

Single use only
Tickets are single-use on matchday and cannot be checked in twice.
If a ticket has already been checked-in once, then admission must be refused if check-in is attempted a second time with the same ticket. The ticket card displays the first check-in date and time if a second attempt is made.

Tickets can be scanned from the QR code or the Ticket ID can be entered manually.

Before you start

Make sure the phone or scanner is fully charged and connected to the internet. Have your staff username or email address and password ready.

The first time you use the system add a link to your phones home screen so it is easy to open on matchday.

Here’s how:

Apple iPhone — Safari

  1. Open the Gate login in Safari.
  2. Press the Share button—the square with an upward arrow.
  3. Scroll down and press Add to Home Screen.
  4. Change the name to Gate Check-In.
  5. Press Add.

Android — Chrome

  1. Open the Gate login in Chrome.
  2. Press the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
  3. Press Add to Home screen, Install app or Create shortcut.
  4. Change the name to Gate Check-In.

After sign-in you will land on the manual entry screen…

Enter a Ticket ID

Use the keypad to enter the supporter’s four-digit Ticket ID. A valid number automatically opens the ticket card.

To use QR scanning instead, press the red QR button in the bottom-right corner of the keypad.

Scan a QR code

Allow camera access if your phone asks. Hold the phone steadily and keep the supporter’s complete QR code inside the scanner area. The ticket card opens automatically when the code is recognised.

Tip: If scanning fails, increase the brightness on the supporter’s phone or return to manual entry and use the four-digit Ticket ID.

Confirm and check in

Read the customer, fixture, ticket quantity and payment information. Confirm that everything is correct, then press Check In Now once.

The status row may show RT for a Robins Together member, or H, A or N for a home, away or neutral matchday supporter.

If the ticket purchase was through a RobinsTogether member (RT) then all persons on the ticket can enjoy RobinsTogether benefits – for example free entry to Females

Recognise an already-used ticket

If the ticket has already been used, the card displays Already Checked In with the original date and time. Do not admit the ticket again without the matchday supervisor’s approval.

Important: Undo should only be used when a check-in was recorded by mistake, or when the matchday supervisor has authorised the ticket to be checked in again.

If something goes wrong

Do not repeatedly press buttons. Return to manual ticket entry and try the four-digit Ticket ID. If the ticket still cannot be found, ask the matchday supervisor for help.
