Soccer School & Soccer Camp General Terms
Parental responsibility
The parent or guardian of the child is responsible for the child’s safe arrival and collection too and from soccer school and soccer camp. If the child has special needs or care that need regular or specialist attention then the parent must stay with the child for the duration of the sessions.
Medical
In booking the Soccer School or Soccer Camp and agreeing to these terms the parent/guardian is consenting to the administering of basic first aid if and when CAFC staff consider that it is required. CAFC coaches and staff have completed basic FA first aid training, but are not qualified medical personnel, so in the case of emergency when the parent is absent then the normal process is to call the emergency services.
Allergies
With many children attending soccer school and soccer camp activities, it is not possible to guarantee that every child will abide by rules not to bring in foods, drinks or substances that contain allergens. Whilst we attempt to minimise the use of foods that contain allergens in our kitchen, but we are unable to guarantee the absence of allergens though cross-contamination. For that reason we strongly advise parents/guardians not to book sessions for children who suffer from serious allergies, and especially not to consume food that is prepared in our kitchens.
Footwear and Protection
Football sessions are delivered of a FIFA quality 4G playing surface. For safety, the surface require children to wear football boots, not trainers. For that reason children must also wear shin pads (and long socks) to protect themselves from injury. It is the parent/gradian’s sole responsibility to ensure that the child complies with the footwear and protection requirements.
