Academy Admissions Process

Academy “Open Day Trials”
Admission to the Academy start with an open day. Spend a few hours with us to experience what its like, speak to the coaches and tutors and meet the existing students.

If your ambition is for a career as a professional or semi-professional footballer then you will take part in a football trial, if not then you will be able to discuss your “off-the-pitch” ambitions.​

  • Arrival 9.00am-9.20am
  • Breakfast upon Arrival
  • Meet the coaches, tutors, and students
  • Presentation by the First Team Manager
  • Football Trial (for those with on-the-pitch ambitions)
  • Debrief 
  • Lunch
  • End 1.00pm-1.15pm

Once you have registered then will provide you with a letter to give to your existing school to explain your absence. Open Day Trials are held every week on Fridays.

Following the open day we will invite you and your parents/guardians to an interview. If the interview is successful you will be offered a place. Places are limited and we are oversubscribed every year, so places are allocated on a first come first served basis.
